It's been an age since I made a torrent and times have changed a bit, lets hope I did this correctly. Let me know if it's not working and I'll see if I can fix it.

So I've read a few books and many of them recommend reading some fiction to strengthen my imagination. I read quite a bit of fiction when I was younger, but now that I am older I am not so sure I will be interested in knights killing dragons and rescuing princesses. With all that being said, what are some recommendations of books that will strengthen my imaginative powers.

 No.464

I can recommend at least these 2:

The Diamond Age: Or, A Young Lady's Illustrated Primer

&

The Mammoth Book of Extreme Science Fiction

Mostly otherwise I've tended to favor extreme yet hard varieties of fiction/fantasy. For ideas I check out

http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/

It has gotten a bit faggy since paetron became a thing and is bluepilled on a few others things, however it's still overall great reference for pushing the boundaries of imagination.

H.P. Lovecraft will get your imagination going.

> I am not so sure I will be interested in knights killing dragons and rescuing princesses

Myths and legends are still good as an adult, if you can read them in the right way. Maybe try the Greek myths if you don't like that Arthurian knights and dragons vibe.

I have a hard copy of the Practice Guide for IIH and I've read the others back when I had a free trial subscription to Kindle Unlimited (they're free to read on that service). I can't say I was terribly impressed by any of them, but the practice guide is the best of the bunch. It has a bit of good advice, but also has some sections that seem to completely misunderstand the steps of IIH, at least as I learned them. All of the books are also full of typos.

I had been thinking about transcribing the Practice Guide into a Word document and editing the typos and poorly worded sections for my own use, but gave up on it after I noticed its other flaws. It does have some good advice though, so I think I'll continue with the project and post it here when I'm done since there's interest.

Zamzar.com can convert between .pdf, .mobi, and .epub, among others. I've used it the other way around (.epub to .pdf for Library Genesis content) with excellent results. You don't need an account, you upload the file and they email you the conversion, and I've never had any spam trouble from entering my email there. I'd recommend getting the .pdf from Neophyte's Gold and converting it there.

Anything interesting in the Practice Guide on thought discipline? I'll get really skilled at that and then good enough at vacancy of mind to advance, but my mind will out of nowhere completely lose the knack for it, sending me back to square one. Being essentially stuck on Step I for three years has sucked. Just trying to find something

Does anybody have any book related to Teutonic mythology? Especially something that has a lot of information about Odhinn. I found a couple in the Dark Tabularium, but they were really old and hard to understand. So I'd like something relatively new if possible. Thanks in advance.

Hey, all! I'm absolutely fascinated by Christopher S. Hyatt's Psychopath's Bible. Does anybody know of any book that is extremely similar to that one? I like PB, but I don't want to get tired of reading it over and over. I haven't really read any LHP books that are at all similar to it. If you know of one that is, I would also appreciate if you could provide a free pdf link if possible. Thanks!

I'm not really well versed in Thelema, but from what I understand, Aleister Crowley was a Right Hand Path worker. He was an important precursor to the Left Hand Path, but he was by no means wholly Left Hand Path. I get the impression that you might not know what I'm talking about. I don't mean any offense.

Pretty much every download is based off of a scan of the book which was done improperly. I guess the equipment used couldn't read it well enough as some characters are switched for similar looking ones.

For example, you'll often find "n" where an "h" should be, or "rn" where an "m" should be.

Even those legendary yogis who supposedly accomplished this needed to eat a single bowl of rice here and there.

You're still in the physical world, your physical body needs certain things to keep it from decomposing.

Stop encouraging people to risk their lives for something as stupid as this. Most people aren't capable of reaching this extreme god fucking damn it. It's not a goal in itself anyway, and to treat it as such is to ultimately deny yourself exactly what you're chasing.

>Based on what you said, it seems like you don't even believe in magick.

First of all, nothing that they wrote indicates they don't believe in magic.

Secondly, magic isn't something you believe in, magic is something you do.

>>264

Not that person, but I'm also highly skeptical of channeled materials (except some ancient Hindu texts, they're dope, but they are not "channeled" per se).

The problem is, anyone can claim their disinfo-filled book is channeled and thus isn't a subject to criticism and is be all end all. Take christian Bible for example, and how these morons claim it to be "the word of God".

Also, a material can be actually channeled, but in this case we are left to believe that the entity that is behind revealing the information is actually benevolent and that the channeler is capable of receiving and interpreting the information correctly and belief is something I don't like.
